ÖffiGo
Austria's public transport — truly native.
Real-time departures, journey planning and live disruptions for all of Austria, in a modern, fast interface. ÖffiGo pulls its Austria-wide transport data from VAO / HAFAS, overlays Wiener Linien open realtime for the Vienna subway, and always labels whether a time is live or straight from the timetable.
Features
-
Live departure board
Your nearest stop, departures for every mode, and realtime where it's available — including delays, platform changes and disruptions. For the Vienna subway it even overlays Wiener Linien realtime where VAO ships only a schedule.
-
Journey planner
Plan your route with all transfers, the walk to the first stop, and a depart-at or arrive-by time.
-
Live map & nearby stops
Stops around you on the map, plus live vehicle positions where they are available — a beta capability that fetches sparingly instead of polling the network.
-
Indoor station guidance
At mapped major stations, transfers can use OpenStreetMap indoor data for stairs, escalators and lifts.
-
Live Activities & widgets
Lock Screen and Dynamic Island countdowns for an active trip, departure reminders, and home-screen widgets.
-
Favorites & saved routes
Save home, work, the stops you use, and your usual routes.
live positions · beta
An honest label beats a confident guess.
Official operator realtime is what ÖffiGo shows first, clearly separated from the timetable. Live vehicle positions run as a beta on a deliberately sparing on-demand lookup, and ÖffiGo only adds a prediction of its own when the measurement basis behind it is fresh and approved. The whole data status is public.
- schedule and realtime are always labelled apart
- live vehicle positions in beta, on-demand and rate-limited
- the old automated measurement network stays paused
- own predictions only with a fresh, approved measurement basis

- Free during the beta. There is no paid offering yet, and the scope and price of a later Pro tier are not decided.
Beta
Testers wanted, spots are limited
ÖffiGo runs as an internal iOS TestFlight beta. You can ask for a spot on oeffigo.app — it's a request, not an automatic invite, and you get exactly one email when a suitable place opens.
